Limited Workmanship Warranty
Mailbox Repair Service LLC (“MRS”)
Effective Date: November 8, 2025
What’s Covered

Workmanship (1 year). MRS warrants our installation/repair workmanship for 1 year from substantial completion. If covered workmanship is defective, our sole obligation is, at our option, to repair or re-perform the affected portion. No cash refunds or credits.

Materials. Materials are covered only by any manufacturer warranty. Brick/stone/finish may vary—exact matches aren’t guaranteed (age, dye lots, texture, patina).
What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)

Weather / Acts of God: freeze-thaw, UV, hail, wind, tornadoes, floods, lightning, extreme temps.

Soil / Ground movement: settlement, heave, erosion, drainage issues, irrigation overspray, tree roots.

Use & wear: normal wear/tear, misuse, lack of maintenance.

Impacts & vandalism: vehicles, mowers/edgers, tampering, theft.

Post-work alterations: any drilling, signage, lighting, attachments, or modifications by others.

Regulatory changes: USPS/HOA/municipal changes after installation; customer-directed placement against our guidance.

Cosmetic-only conditions: hairline cracks, efflorescence, finish/patina changes that don’t affect safety/function.

Non-payment: any work not paid in full.
Conditions That Void Coverage
Warranty is void if:
(a) the balance remains unpaid; (b) anyone other than MRS alters/repairs before we inspect; or (c) we’re denied reasonable access to inspect/repair.
Customer Care & Maintenance (Required)

Keep drainage away from footings; avoid prolonged saturation.

Avoid impacts from vehicles/equipment.

Tighten hardware / lubricate moving parts as needed.

Do not bury bases in soil/mulch or trap moisture around foundations.
Failure to maintain can void coverage.
How to Make a Claim

Email support@mailboxrepairservice.com within 30 days of discovering the issue (and within 1 year of completion).

Include address, invoice #, photos/video, and a brief description.

We may request more info or schedule an on-site inspection.

If covered, we’ll perform the repair within a commercially reasonable timeframe.
Emergency / safety note: If you believe a condition is unsafe, please call us and avoid using the area until we advise.
Liability Limitations
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied (including merchantability and fitness). To the fullest extent permitted, our total liability for a warranty claim will not exceed the amount you paid MRS for the specific warranted work. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits—your rights may vary.
USPS Compliance Note
We advise typical USPS placement guidelines (height, setback). Unless our written scope states otherwise, final approval and ongoing compliance are your responsibility (including HOA/municipal requirements). Do not affix advertising to the mailbox/support where prohibited.
Provider-Performed Projects
If your project is performed by an independent Provider (non-MRS crew), that Provider’s own warranty applies. MRS is not a party to your contract with the Provider.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchasing customer at the original install location.
